  1. What is AutoReturn?

    AutoReturn is a towing management company contracted by the City of Kansas City. We do not issue tickets or order tows. Our job is to manage the safe transportation, storage and return of a vehicle after the Kansas City Police Department orders a tow.

  3. What do I need to retrieve my towed vehicle?

  4. Who authorizes vehicle tows?

    All tows performed by AutoReturn are authorized by the Kansas City Police Department.  Please see the city website for more information.

  11. How do I file a claim?

    If you wish to report a claim involving damage to your vehicle or missing property, please report the incident directly to the towing company that towed/stored your vehicle. Please contact the Kansas City Tow Lot at 816-513-1313 for information on filing a claim. Alternatively, you can complete an online claim form.

  12. What happens to unclaimed vehicles?
